Two proposals, one community

Neo's two co-founders, Da Hongfei and Erik Zhang, have each published a governance reform proposal — #4526 and #4531. Both want a durable, community-accountable foundation, but the two proposals sit in different places, and it's hard to hold them both in your head at once.

This site does that job for you.

What you'll find

Every topic pairs both proposals side-by-side, quoting each founder's own words with anchors back to the source section. Each topic is tagged with an agreement value (agree, partial agree, different angles, disagree, or one-side-only) and, where applicable, a compatibility tag showing whether two differing rules could still coexist without contradiction.

You can filter by agreement or compatibility to focus on the topics you care about, and jump directly to any topic via the sidebar.

How to take part

This site exists to help the community give better feedback to both founders. If you've read through the topics and have a view, the most useful thing you can do is take it back to the discussions on #4526 and #4531 — focused on the specific topics and positions, not a vote for one side or the other.

The more specific the feedback, the easier it is for the two proposals to converge.

A note on accuracy

Every position is sourced from the founders' own proposals. Where one proposal is silent on a topic, the site says so explicitly — it does not fill in a position a founder did not take.
